Meet Recap

The Watervliet ladies brought home the second-place trophy in the Division 2 race at the Bangor Invitational. They were just 6 points behind Lawton who won the 10-team race. The squad was led by Allie Pazera who had her strongest race of the season being the top individual finisher in Division 2 with a 21:24. Tayler Shafer continues to knock her time lower as she posted a 22:04 for 5th place. With Allie and Tayler doing their job at the front, it was up to the other ladies to provide the depth needed for a great overall team performance. They did exactly that as the next three Panthers were clustered together with Jade Miller getting 14th with a 24:16, Bailey Evans in 17th with 24:32, and Alyssa Hobson who shaved over a minute off her time to grab 18th in 24:41. Brenda Hess had a very good day as well as she reduced her time by over 2 minutes.
