Meet Recap

The Panther boys continue to shine at the early season Bridgman Invitational as they finished 1st out of 14 teams making it the 5th time in the last 6 years the Watervliet Boys have taken home the Bridgman Invitational title. Jobe Kerr led the charge running a smart, tactical race to hang with the second-place runner through the two-mile mark and then breaking away in the last mile to secure a second-place overall finish with a time of 17:52. Freshman Gus Hinch was the second Panther across the finish line grabbing 15th place with a 20:48. He was followed closely by Klayton Marshall in 16th place with a 20:55. Nick Swanson and Brent Simmons were another closely packed Panther duo with Swanson finishing 20th and Simmons 24th. Freshman Alex Isbrecht and sophomore Austin Roberts rounded out the team’s top 7 with 28th and 37th place finishes, respectively.
