The Lady Panthers once again got off to a slow start in the first half of their match verses the Delton-Kellogg Panthers giving up three goals over a ten minute stretch beginning at the thirty-three minute mark.

Senior Center Midfielder Hannah Armstrong was able to score a 37 yard goal off from an assist from junior Forward Casie Gohr making the score 1-3 with five minutes remaining in the half. In the closing minutes of the first half the speedy forward for Delton was able to slip behind the defense and score her third goal of the first half and make the half-time score 1-4 in favor of the visiting Delton-Kellogg squad.
The Lady Panthers came alive in the second half scoring two straight goals, both my freshman. The first goal was scored by Emma Kraklau off from an assist from Freshman Victoria Smith. Emma returned the favor by assisting Victoria Smith on another goal minutes later to make the score 3-4.

The Lady Panthers continued to play well throughout the second half keeping pressure up on the attacking end while the defense played well in addition to some amazing saves by Junior GK Casie Gohr. Delton went on to score two goals late and come away with a 3-6 victory, however the Lady Panthers of Watervliet played some of their best soccer of the year in the second half.

Players of the game were: Freshman outside back Trinity Crane, Freshman Center-mid Emma Kraklau, and Freshman Goalkeeper/Forward Victoria Smtih.
