Meet Recap

The girls had their best ever showing at the ginormous Portage Invitational placing 16th in a field of 48 teams that included most of the state’s top programs. Taylor Shafer paced the Panthers with her fastest time of the year of 20:31 placing 54th out of 286 total runners. Allie Pazera improved her time as well finishing in 20:40 for 60th place. Gaby Tavolacci came across in 86th place with a 21:17. Brittney Johnson held onto the team’s 4th spot with a 22:37. Not far behind were Martha Casiano and Melissa Swanson coming across the finish line in 23:00 and 23:05. Bailey Evans rounded out the varsity performances with a season best 23:29. In the JV race, Jade Miller posted a new PR with 24:13 as did Laura Wagner with 29:43. Aliea Chapin ran well just missing her PR by 5 seconds.
