Meet Recap

The Panther girls cross country team finished second out of 9 schools at the SAC West Jamboree held at Jollay Orchards in Coloma. Saugatuck won with 28 points, Watervliet had 47 points, while Hartford grabbed third with 108 points. Allie Pazera was the top Panther on the day finishing second overall with a new PR time of 21:00. Gabby Tavolacci ran her best race of the season thus far to capture 5th place in 21:21. Taylor Shafer and Brittney Johnson proved solid crossing the finish in 11th and 13th places with respective times of 22:17 and 22:41. Bailey Evans and Martha Casiano made it six Panthers in the top 21 with Bailey finishing 20th in 23:49 and Martha just one second and one spot behind. Melissa Swanson rounded out the varsity finishers with a season best 24:09, good enough for 26th place. Also, congratulations to Laura Wagner as she knocked over a minute off her time to set a new PR.
