Meet Recap

The Panther girls cross country team made it three straight titles at the Bridgman Invitational as they held off a strong Gobles team to finish in first by a 10 point margin. Gabby Tavolacci, last year’s individual champion, once again led the team effort finishing in 3rd place with a 22:12. Allie Pazera made it a nice 1-2 punch as she was close behind Gabby in 4th place with a 22:18. Brittney Johnson made it three Panthers in the top 10 as she crossed the line in 23:14 for 9th place. Taylor Shafer and Vicky Smith both knocked well over a minute off their times from the first race of the season to finish in 21st and 24th places with respective times of 23:45 and 23:57. Bailey Evans crossed the line in 28th place with a 24:14 while Jade Miller ran the first race of her cross country career in 25:25 for 35th place. Alyssa Hobson and Aliea Chapin both finished the course at Bridgman significantly faster than they had last year with Hobson finishing in 25:58 and Chapin in 28:14.
