Game Recap
The Panther boys cross country team won their third consecutive Regional title by relying on the same depth that has allowed them to be successful all season. The team outpaced the rest of the 18-team field by placing its first four runners in the top 14. Brendan Daly led the way with a 4th place finish and finally busted the 17-minute barrier by posting a 16:45. The pack of Brock Thumm, T.J. Hoffman, and Patrick Lynch grabbed spots 12, 13, and 14 with times of 17:19, 17:20, and 17:23. Lynch’s time was a new personal record while Thumm and Hoffman’s times were their second fastest of the season. Valentin Casiano rounded out the Panther scoring with a 24th place finish in 17:47 and Reese Jones was not too far behind running 17:53 for 26th place. The team now travels to Michigan International Speedway to compete in the State Meet next Saturday.
