Meet Recap

The Panther ladies ended their cross country season running the Regional meet at the challenging, hilly course at Red Bud in Buchanan. The girls placed 5th, just 2 points behind 4th-place Bridgman, in the 18-team field. In what was the most competitive girls regional in many years, Allie Pazera finished 11th overall to qualify for the State Meet next Saturday at MIS in Brooklyn. This is the second year in a row Allie has earned All-Regional honors. Tayler Shafer and Jade Miller were the next two Watervliet ladies to cross the line finishing in 21st and 27th, respectively. Bailey Evans and Alyssa Hobson rounded out the team scoring with 35th and 45th place finishes in the field consisting of 87 total runners.
