Game Recap

In their last match of the season, Watervliet JV Volleyball traveled to Bangor to take on the Vikings. The team was able to finish the year with a win! The first game showed the Panthers starting out strong and picking up the Vikings defensive plays. Bangor kept fighting back, and a late surge tied the game at 24-24. The Panthers were able to side out, and Emma Yazel served a game point ace to finish the game. Once again in the second game, the Panthers moved out to a lead, holding off the Vikings throughout the game. Good defense, and tough serving allowed the team to win the second game 25-20.

As we end the season, I want to thank the team for a great season! The girls worked so hard and showed so much improvement. I am so proud of them and can’t wait to see what the future brings for them!
