Meet Recap

The Panther girls competed Saturday in the state’s largest and most competitive race of the season, the Portage Invitational. In a field of 47 teams, including most of Michigan’s best Division 3 squads, the ladies finished 32nd. Allie Pazera had the best time of the day with a 21:55. Tayler Shafer was the second Panther across the finish line in 22:41. The next three were all within 25 seconds of each other as Jade Miller posted a 23:54, Bailey Evans a 23:58, and Alyssa Hobson a 24:19. Brenda Hess improved her season best time by over 2 minutes finishing the race in 31:02.
