Meet Recap

The Watervliet girls took on the best Berrien County had to offer at Bertrand Park in Niles at the annual County Meet. In a field of 13 teams, they placed 4th with only St. Joseph, Lakeshore, and Niles outpacing them. This was the fifth straight year the Panther ladies have finished in the top 4 in the county. On a muddy, puddle-filled course that wound its way through the woods, Allie Pazera led the way finishing 7th overall with her strongest race of the season crossing the finish line in 21:11. Tayler Pazera was ten spots back in 17th in 22:08. Much needed depth was provided by the threesome of Bailey Evans, Jade Miller, and Alyssa Hobson who all ran their best times of the season.
