Game Recap

On a balmy 36 degree night with 20MPH wind gusts making the real feel 28 degrees accompanied by a moderate rain the Lady Panthers took the field to play on the road at Saugatuck.

A back and forth scoreless match changed with 10 mins to go in the first half when Saugatuck was awarded a penalty kick which was converted to give them a 1-0 lead over Watervliet.

The Panthers earned a free kick late in the half that appeared to be the equalizer however was not awarded and the Panthers went into half-time trailing 0-1.

The Panthers continued to battle back getting multiple second half shots and playing quality defense but were unable to find the back of the net.

A quality effort in less than tropical conditions was put forth.

Players of the Match: Senior Hannah Armstrong, Sophomore Rose Saxe & Freshman Emma Krakau.
