Meet Recap

The boys cross country squad grabbed 17th out 48 teams at the Portage Invitational. Running amongst the state’s elite teams pushed the Panther runners to some great individual accomplishments. Jobe clocked a 16:35 for 28th place. Reese Jones and Dominick Tavolacci continued to work together to provide good depth as they finished in 18:12 and 18:13. Haydon Richards proved his PR from last weekend was no fluke as he jut missed setting a new one with a 19:13. Nick Swanson did get a new PR with his 19:24, while Austin Roberts rounded out the varsity performances with a 19:46. In the JV race, Klayton Marshall shaved 4 more seconds off his best time for a 20:10 while Vinnie Doneruse continued his recent improvements lowering his time to 20:31.
